Our long-established Law firm client is looking for a Senior Private Client Solicitor based in their offices in Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for an experienced Partner or Solicitor looking to step into a Partner-level position, offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives within the firm.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of matters from inception to resolution, but with a focus on Court of Protection (CoP) services.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, prepare comprehensive legal documents, and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, experts, and stakeholders, ensuring effective case management and client satisfaction.
  • Drive business development efforts to attract new clients and foster long-term relationships.
  • Strategise and execute plans for departmental growth and team development.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and participate in the hiring and training of new team members as part of departmental expansion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner within a private client department.
  • Strong legal expertise in managing a broad range of private client matters, particularly in Court of Protection services.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in mentoring and team development.
  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record of attracting and retaining clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong professional relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead initiatives and contribute to the firm's long-term goals.
