Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: 24,000 - 28,000 per year

About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a passionate Payroll Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are a dynamic organisation based in Quedgeley, Gloucester, and are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and experience with SAGE 50 to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee queries and payroll-related data requests
  • Manage the email inbox and ensure timely responses
  • Support the Payroll Advisors in preparing monthly payrolls across multiple entities
  • Input accurate payroll data into the Sage 50 Cloud Payroll system
  • Process various payroll elements such as overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, student loans, court orders, and other adjustments
  • Cross-check monthly payroll entries within the payroll team for accuracy

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience working with SAGE 50
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in a similar payroll administration role
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent
