Exciting Opportunity for Payroll Assistants!

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester

Our client, a leader in the water treatment and hygiene industry, is seeking two Payroll Assistants to join their team. As a vital part of our client's quest to become the best company in their field, you will play a crucial role in supporting their payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with managing the email inbox and act as a point of contact for employee queries and payroll data requests.
  • Support the Payroll Advisors in preparing monthly payrolls across multiple entities.
  • Accurately input payroll data into Sage 50 Cloud Payroll, including starters, leavers, and amendments.
  • Process overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, student loans, court orders, and other adjustments.
  • Assist with handling expenses, mileage payments, and deductions.
  • Assist in cross-checking monthly payroll entries within the team.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic payroll knowledge is essential.
  • Previous experience in a busy payroll department is desirable.
  • Experience using Sage 50 Cloud Payroll desirable.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ensure accurate data input.
  • Proficient in using Excel.
  • General admin/office experience.
  • A team player with a willingness to contribute to the team's success.
