Infinity Employmentare looking for serveralquality inspectorsfor our client in Gloucester, this will be Full time for an initial 3 - 6-month contract with other contracts to follow. A permanent role may transpire within their client. It is situated within theAutomotive EngineeringIndustry. We are looking for candidates with previous Engineering Quality Inspection experience withinthe aerospace sector.

Role Purpose:

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled or finished.

Principal Responsibilities:

Approve incoming materials confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

Approve in-process production confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

Approve finished products confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;

Experience:

Essential:-

Inspection experience in a high precision engineering environment: precision engineering or automotive

Experience of working to ISO9001.

Micrometers, verniers, height gauges,

Read customer drawings and understands the importance of accurate measurements

Desirable:-

- Gained Inspection experience in a fast moving high precision environment: precision engineering or automotive

- CMM would be advantage

- Polymer and rubber experienced

Personal Protective Equipment:

In order to perform the duties as safely as possible, the candidate will be required to adhere to Company H&S and use the following PPE:

Overalls

Safety glasses

Safety shoes

Ear protection / hand gloves and masks if required
