Role Overview:As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the education and well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will include assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing essential support to teachers, and leading classes when the teacher is unavailable.

Key Duties:

  • SEND Support: Work closely with students who require additional assistance, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Classroom Leadership: Take charge of lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a seamless continuation of the curriculum.
  • Curriculum Assistance: Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver tailored support and interventions, fostering individualised learning experiences.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, employing effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow educators, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
