Affinity Workforce Solutions are seeking committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work on several assignments across the South Gloucestershire and Gloucester are, working with schools across the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

Whether your passion lies in Primary, Secondary, or Special Educational Needs (SEN) environments, we offer a variety of placements to match your experience and enthusiasm.

Essential Requirements:

  • Good standard of education (5 x GCSE's - English and Maths C or above).
  • Valid enhance DBS.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.

Desirables:

  • Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting).
  • A relevant, recognised qualification such as the NVQ for Teaching Assistants or Qualified first aider.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role:

  • Supporting the teaching staff to help implement the curriculum.
  • Under the supervision of the class teacher, undertake a range of directed activities to support the educational and development needs of pupils.
  • Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teacher.
  • Assist teachers with the organisation and maintenance of the classroom resources.
