Childrens Social Worker

Gloucestershire County Council are seeking experienced Social Workers to join their various teams across their six localities. As a Childrens Social Worker, you will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire. Through building positive relationships with colleagues within the service and partner agencies, you will ensure the company is able to provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.

• Social Work England registration
• Experience within Children's Social Care
• A recognised qualification in Social Work
• To have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
• A full driving licence and willingness to drive
• Enhanced DBS clearance

As well as your experience as a frontline social worker, there are some things we require of you to be successfully appointed to this post. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join a focused and ambitious local authority.

The teams that we are looking to recruit into are MASH, Assessment, Safeguarding, DCYPS, Permanency teams 0-11 years and 11-25 years.

• Between 34,723 - 42,503 per annum subject to experience
• Annual retention payment of 2,000
• Welcome payment of 4,000
• Hybrid working opportunities (2-3 days in the office)
• 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service

Applications from Skilled Workers already living and working in the UK will be considered, with the following additional criteria:

• Currently registered with SWE
• Looking to move Certificate of Sponsorship and relocate to Gloucestershire

The company offers a relocation allowance of up to 8,000 T&C's apply.
