KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Horticulture Tutor / Assessor Location: Must be flexible with travel to Gloucester and Bristol for classroom-based deliverySalary: 25,000 + benefits package (Working days: Monday Thursday)Type: PermanentEssential Criteria:

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must have current or previous experience of assessing Horticulture Apprenticeships.
Hold solid, occupational competency within Horticulture minimum of 2 years (gardener or groundskeeper etc)
Confident and comfortable to deliver training to small groups of learners.
Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Horticulture Apprenticeships, in a workshop / small group setting.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
