Join Our Team as a Learning & Behaviour Mentor in Nottinghamshire

Are you passionate about making a difference in young lives? Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Mentor to work in a specialist school in Nottinghamshire. We value experience and dedication, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). If you have a background in education or the like sector and a desire to inspire and empower students, we want to hear from you!

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Passion for working with and supporting children
  • Interest in supporting students with a range of SEND
  • Experience in behavioural management (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to provide teaching references

Your Role with Us:

  • Support the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants in daily classroom activities
  • Assist students during lessons and school activities
  • Manage personalised learning plans based on individual needs
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group activities to support student development
  • Collect evidence of student work for assessment purposes
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support for young people across all age ranges.
