The Role:
A market leading and award winning sheet metal manufacturing organisation are looking to a appoint a Machine Shop Supervisor who has experience with a CAD/CAM system at their busy production site near Gravesend / Dartford.

This is a very rare and exciting permanent opportunity for someone looking to either make the leap into working-management OR a proven production manager or machine shop supervisor looking to make a positive impact and changes at a busy manufacturing site.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will join this busy machine shop site leading a team of 12 - 15 operators and production staff using a variety of CNC machines, press brake, guillotines, punch press and similar equipment to process sheet metal production products for the construction, engineering, utilities, manufacturing and mechanical engineering industries.

Using your proven experience with Radan (or similar CAD/CAM system), you will lead production activities and be dedicated to deliver high quality products.

Alongside taking leadership of the factory manufacturing activities, you will also be a key member of thedecision making management team for the business; offering your insight, experience and opinions on how best to run and improve the production facility.

Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this vacancy you must have experience with a CAD/CAM system used within CNC machining. Ideally you will have used Radan or a very similar package.

You will have excellent knowledge of sheet metal, fasteners, press, cutting and/or similar processes and be someone who can plan, train, lead and delegate. You will be a flexible person who can help apply manufacturing processes to new product development and prototyping alongside meeting the demands of existing product manufacturing.
