We are seeking a skilled quantity surveyor to join a civils company The quantity surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.

The quantity surveyor will be in a similar role currently, or looking to step into one, ideally from a civils backgrounds and tier 2/3 companies

Role includes:

- Preparing cost analysis based on the drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved- Conduct cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control- Review and analyse contractor bids and change orders- Monitor project progress and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders- Manage project finances including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking costs- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time

What is required?

- Proven experience as a quantity surveyor or in a similar role- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, costs, and timeframes- Proficiency in cost control techniques- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
