Grounds Maintenance/Area Operatives required, driving licence preferred however not essential if you have strong maintenance experience.
Main duties include:
- Maintaining grass on roundabouts, parks and highways
- Strimming
- Litter picking where needed and keeping the area generally tidy
- Street Sweeping (manual or with pedestrian controlled sweeper)
- Removal of graffiti
- Clearance of fly tipping
- Emptying of litter and dog waste bins
- Grass cutting (using pedestrian or ride-on mowers)
- Hedge trimming and winter maintenance pruning
- Checking the safety of play equipment and reporting defects as necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to West Thurrock, South Ockendon, Grays, Aveley
- Working hours Monday - Friday 7:30 - 3:30
