PAY RATE: 350.00 LTD / 298.38 PAYE (inc. holiday)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Homeownership Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality leasehold management and Right to Buy services for a Local Authority in Thurrock.
THE ROLE
As Homeownership Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team delivering efficient and legally compliant Homeownership services, ensuring excellent customer care and maximising income collection.
- Oversee and manage the Leasehold Management and Right to Buy services
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for service charges, ground rent and major works
- Lead on statutory Section 20 consultations and leaseholder communications
- Handle complex leaseholder enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly
- Provide expert legal advice on leasehold matters, compliance and service development
- Represent the council at tribunals, leaseholder forums and internal/external meetings
- Manage and motivate the Homeownership team including performance, recruitment, and development
The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing Homeownership or Leasehold Services within a local authority or housing association setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Housing Act 1985 and leasehold legislation
- Experience overseeing service charge estimates, billing, and recovery
- Proven ability to manage statutory Right to Buy processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Skilled in team leadership, service development, and legal compliance

RATE: The pay for the role is 350.00 per day LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is 298.38 per day, inclusive of holiday.
