A new role has arisen for a Sales Ledger Clerk in Great Yarmouth.Working with a great team of people, this role will involve the following tasks: - Overseeing the sales ledger function
- Ensuring timely closure of well-maintained ledgers in accordance with month end deadlines
- Regular review of ledgers to ensure transactions are appropriately allocated
- Chase overdue invoices via telephone and e-mail
- Raise recharge invoices and rebate credit notes
- Post bank entries and perform daily bank reconciliations
- Assist Sales Ledger Assistant with mailbox management
- Support/cover the Sales ledger Assistant with raising sales and credit notes, distributing daily sales report, submissions to customer portals and setting up new accounts
The skills required for the role: - Experience with sales ledger and credit control
- A good knowledge of Excel
- A strong team player
