NXTGEN are delighted to be working with a UK leading business based in Great Yarmouth, who are looking for a Accounts Assistant/ Credit controller to join the finance team in this pivotal role. As Accounts Assistant/ Credit controller you will be working as part of a close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. As an Accounts Assistant/ Credit controller you will supporting on all things AP/AR and will have the opportunity to be involved with both sides of the ledger. This role will be heavy on the Credit control duties as relationship management, debt collection, and credit checks is again very important in this role. You will be part of an ever evolving business and being able to input on process improvement is vital. Previous experience in a Accounts Assistant/ Credit controller position is essential in this role. If you have a strong admin background and have worked with any debt collection, this may also be considered. This is a business that has experienced large growth and as a result have a need to expand the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Running Reports, reconciliation and completing data analysis
  • Processing direct debt collections
  • Credit checks
  • Payments to suppliers
  • Posting banking transactions
  • Accounts queries
  • Bank reconciliations, Data Analysis and reports
  • Various ad-hoc accounting duties when required

Having excellent communication skills will stand out, as you will be working closely with the Finance Manager and other departments within the business.
