Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in the Nuclear /Oil & Energy industry.As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in managing and organising all the company's essential documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping and prompt documentation retrieval. You will work closely with various teams and departments to maintain an efficient document control system that adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company's document control system, ensuring documents are accurately recorded and filed

Coordinate with internal teams to collect and update necessary documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy

Organise documents in a systematic manner, enabling easy access and retrieval for authorised personnel

Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of document control procedures and policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation of processes, procedures, and project deliverables

Provide training and support to staff members on document control processes and systems

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality guidelines related to document control

Perform regular backups and maintain appropriate version control for all documents

Assist in the development and improvement of document management tools and systems
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in the Nuclear and/or Oil & Gas sector

Strong knowledge of document control procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in using document management systems and software.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
