With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join their team in Great Yarmouth.Position Overview: On behalf of our client, we are searching for a skilled Mechanical Assembler who will contribute to the assembly of new oilfield equipment. This role requires hands-on experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general fitting work in the workshop to build sub-assemblies.
  • Prepare items for paint and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in the installation of fluid tanks and mechanical equipment, including the creation and installation of hydraulic/pneumatic hose assemblies.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare items for unit installation during the build process.
Requirements:
  • Technical qualification in Mechanics and/or Engineering, such as HNC/HND or City & Guilds, preferred.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in automotive, agricultural, or marine engineering is essential.
  • Working knowledge within an assembly & manufacturing environment, with experience in component preparation, is advantageous.
