In support of our continued growth, a vacancy has arisen based for an Operations Assistant to support our dynamic supply base operations. This is a part-time role (Between 20-30 hours a week). The successful candidate will have the option to attain an apprenticeship qualification also if they wish. The role will be based between our Lowestoft Control Tower and our Great Yarmouth office.
Principal duties of the role will be providing administration support to the Transport department, Shipping department and Warehouse department, working with our own suite of Apps (Lighthouse), to maintain visibility and control of daily operations.
The successful candidate will be computer literate and able to demonstrate the ability to manage a number of priorities while ensuring that paperwork and other administrative tasks are kept up to date. A proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships of trust with clients and other stakeholders will also be an advantage.
