Our client, a Maritime and Defence supplier is looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join them on an initial 6-month contract at their site in Greenford.
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold the British nationality.
- 6-month initial contract.
- Fully onsite in Greenford with occasional visits to Loudwater.
- Inside IR35, rates are open to negotiation.
Quality Inspection monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. The function will conduct tests, analyses measurements, and oversee production processes.
The Goods inwards inspector is responsible for ensuring that materials and equipment, which pass through his/her control are:
- Inspected and handled in accordance with the company operating standards, ensuring goods are adequately packaged to prevent in house damage.
- Maintaining documentation controls in support of the Goods Inwards Inspection processes to which he/she is assigned.
- Participate in the 5S and continuous improvement process and initiatives.
- Able to conduct CMM inspection and support management of Calibration tools
- Reporting all NCs (Non-conformances) issues in the MRB platform and returning defectives back to the suppliers/vendors are rework or replacement.
- Operator roles work under the guidance of a supervisor to perform operations duties safely and effectively and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
- These roles perform a range of clearly defined procedures, and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience. Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. Has developed skills through formal training and/or work experience.
