To provide administrative support to the Operations Manager specifically in support of LMS and data entry.

This role will report into the Operations Manager; however, task requests will come from various areas of the Maritime Management Team and Serco.

Key Accountabilities:

  • LMS Back Up & Administration Support
  • Data entry and Software manipulation
  • Attend application training and advice teams on correct use.
  • Management of staff certification and expiry dates
  • Maintain electronic data bases whilst transitioning to new and upgraded system.
  • Provide accurate and timely information as required.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of daily administration of the system.
  • Have potential to expand knowledge and skillset as required.
  • Provides general administration support including production of MS Office documents.
  • Other business support duties that are within capabilities as may be required by management from time to time.

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications:

  • Excellent administration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing working environment and role.
  • Administrative experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficient in all aspects MS Office
  • Currently hold or able to obtain SC Clearance
  • Demonstrable strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively both independently and in a team
