Senior Management Accountant |Guildford | Hybrid | £55-65,000

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be supporting a wide range of stakeholders including the Board and heads of group functions.
An interesting role offering a variety of responsibilities:
- Management reporting and business partnering
- Preparation of Group management reporting, along with details analysis vs. budget
- Coordinate the annual budget cycle, understanding drivers behind variances, coordinating quarterly risk
- Technical accounting, treasury and audit support
- Consolidation of the year-end group accounts, providing ad hoc technical accounting advice
- Preparation of management reporting, along with details analysis vs. budget
- Coordinate the annual budget cycle, understanding drivers behind variances, coordinating quarterly risk
- Involvement in ongoing systems and process projects to support continuous improvement and strategic business objectives
- Exposure to senior finance and non-finance stakeholders
You will bring:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Strong consolidation, P&L and Balance Sheet accounting knowledge to help prepare monthly and annual financial reporting and to support senior finance leaders and the annual budgeting and reporting processes
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting.
- Experience with reviewing controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience working with and communicating with senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Confidence to challenge results and communicate ideas
- Tenacity and attention to detail, to be able to deliver high quality financial information to support management decisions.
