Service Centre Manager

Your new roleThe Service Centre Manager will play a key role within the business, providing specialist support to customers using their equipment, ensuring efficient and "right-first-time" repairs and servicing, maintaining safe levels of stock and materials while avoiding excess, liaising with customer service team to provide accurate information and updates, and liaising with technical departments to ensure products and service are continuously improving. What you'll need to succeedYou will be proven in a similar service centre management position, where products are brought in for repair and service events. You will be comfortable managing a team, working with KPIs, and have a track record of success delivering measurable improvements, by setting the strategic direction to enable excellence, and creating the refinements to processes that will drive improvements. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable. As a minimum, you will be able to demonstrate experience within a Health & Safety conscious working environment. You will be familiar with Quality Management standards (eg ISO9001), and be able to liaise with that department to support their efforts. Any experience of calibration equipment (and UKAS ISO c:2017) is a distinct advantage and should be stated clearly in your CV if you have it. You will enjoy being hands-on with a small team, working with Group Leadership to drive improvement activities, and working with the onsite team to maintain a positive and forward-thinking working culture.
