We at Penguin have begun working with another UKAS accredited Asbestos Specialist business who are looking to grow their business throughout the South and surrounding areas, now is the time to jump ship!

As a Dual Trained Asbestos Surveyor Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' premises. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough Asbestos Surveys, analysing samples with precision, and providing expert guidance on Asbestos management strategies. The client has a number of big Commercial Contracts throughout the South.

What they are looking for:

Qualifications: P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (any others are welcomed)

Expertise: Certified in both Asbestos Surveying and Analysis, with a deep understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in surveying and analysing asbestos-containing materials, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring accuracy.

Communication Skills: Capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues alike.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficient in identifying asbestos risks and recommending practical solutions for effective management.

Team Player: Collaborative mindset, able to work seamlessly within a team environment while also capable of independent decision-making.

Common Duties for an Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Accurate assessment of asbestos removal works, detection of asbestos debris and ensuring constant compliance with HSG 247 clearance test.
  • Account management for specific clients.
  • Communicating with clients and line managers to ensure the smooth running of site work.
  • Processing of samples and generating final reports in a timely manner.
  • Proactive approach to enhancing professional development by attending monthly took box talks and mandatory training sessions.
  • Assisting in the training of less experienced team members.
