We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and guide our financial strategy. This full-time role is based in Guildford and offers a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with the ability to lead a team and provide financial insights that will help shape our business decisions.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.
Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations related to finance.
Lead the finance team in day-to-day operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Work with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Finance Manager.
Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to strategize and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
CPA is a strong advantage.
