Were working with a respected, long-establishedmedium-sized accountancy firm in Guildford, now part of a wider top-50 group, to recruit a key addition to their growing team.

The Role:

As anAccounts Semi Senior or Senior, youll work closely with clients across a range of industries, supporting both statutory and management accounting needs. Youll take on more complex work and play a key role in guiding junior team members.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts forsole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, and groups
  • Producingmonthly or quarterly management accounts(including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, etc.)
  • Assisting withbespoke advisory projects
  • Preparing VAT returns and supporting client bookkeeping when needed
  • Working at client premises where required, liaising directly with stakeholders
  • Assisting with audit prep and supporting the audit team
  • Reviewing junior work and helping to train less experienced colleagues
  • Getting involved in internal initiatives, development, and shaping the firms processes

What Were Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • At least2 years experiencewithin an accountancy practice
  • Experience with statutory accounts and management accounts
  • Familiarity withCCH Accounts ProductionandXero(bonus, not essential)
  • Able to manage priorities, review work, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
  • Full driving licence ideal due to occasional travel to client sites
