This fabulous setting in the local community is looking for a Learning Support Assistant for a full time role starting ASAP. This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or Carer that enjoys working on a 1:1 basis and is keen to support young people with a range of complex needs in a busy, creative and fun setting.
The centre has won awards and is rated outstanding by OFSTED. It supports approximately 30 learners and is currently oversubscribed.
As a vital member of the team, you'll work closely with the dedicated staff to shape the futures of learners with ASD and other disabilities. Your role will encompass designing and implementing tailored learning programs, offering unwavering support, and nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion. Your passion and experience in the SEN/Care field will be the driving force behind each positive step.

-Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (part time would be considered)

-No evening, weekend or shift requirements

Key Skills required:
-Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
-Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
-Ability to work as a team and build relationships with learners, parents and staff
-A positive and resilient attitude
-Minimum Grade C or equivalent, in English Language & Maths is essential
-Care certificate is desirable
-Own means of transport desirable
-Subsidised transport provided from Guildford if required
