As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain practical experience in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Duties:

  • Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the purchase ledger, including data entry, correct nominal coding and ensuring the correct process is used using our purchase invoice processing system.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve any invoice discrepancies and address any related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Provide support during audits.

Experience:

  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
