Assistant Manager/Manager

Assistant Manager/Manager required. My client is one of the West Midlands leading accountancy firms, they have been established for over two decades and work with a wide variety of clients in a number of different industries.

Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team in Halesowen.

• Manage the team and help train more junior members of staff
• Review work completed by the team
• Be the point of contact for a number of our clients and distribute the workload
• Carrying out tax compliance for clients
• Adhoc tasks as and when they arrive

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified.

• 5+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
• Good accountancy knowledge
• A highly organised individual
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous audit experience would be ideal but not essential

• £35,000-£45,000 basic salary

This is a fully office-based role so a suitable commute to the Halesowen area is essential.
