JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a growing business in the Halifax area as they look to recruit a graduate, ideally with some finance experience or placement year. If you are looking to study CIMA or ACCA, this is a superb opportunity. As well as a competitive salary and study support, the role itself will give the successful candidate exposure to a whole range of finance duties, with significant involvement in the production of monthly management accounts, board pack and reporting. Key duties will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Aged debt analysis and credit reports
- Assist with external audit and compliance
- Support the wider finance team as required
Applicants will ideally possess an accountancy and finance degree or equivalent along with some practical experience within a finance department such as a placement year. Applicants must also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as an abitlity to pick up other systems quickly.
