At Hays, we are proud to be working with an amazing not-for-profit organisation to recruit a key addition to their finance team. You will be joining their small, close-knit team. This role is for a temporary finance assistant. As a finance assistant, your main duties will include:

  • Purchase and sales ledger input
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining computerised accounts
  • General finance administration
  • Prepare and process end to end payroll on a monthly basis using Sage 50 payroll
  • Understand and interpret timesheets


For this role you will need a background in finance, with experience of dealing with both sales and purchase ledgers and general finance administration. You will also need to be someone who can communicate well with others and be prepared to be flexible! Payroll knowledge is desirable.
