We're looking for a driver who can be our go-to person for ad-hoc shifts - work when you can and help us provide a high standard of professional driver to their team.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Hiab driver to work for our timber merchant client based in Halifax. Regular work will be available due to the holiday and sickness cover need for a large fleet.
What you need to know:
- Start times: Usually between 06.00 – 07.00am
- Shift pattern: Ad hoc shifts between Monday and Friday
- Workload: Between 4 and 8 drops per shift depending on location of deliveries. Deliveries to be made to both commercial and private customers.
What you must have:
- Must hold a valid HGV UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
- Must have experience driving a HGV vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
- Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences.
- Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
- Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
