Our client, a global leader in payment solutions, is on the lookout for a Senior Risk Manager, Supply Chain to join their dynamic team for a 6-month journey. What You'll Do:As the Senior Risk Manager, you will be the driving force behind robust risk management strategies and supplier governance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of Standards: Lead the Group Sourcing and Supplier Management Standards, ensuring they align with industry best practises.
  • Framework Management: Own the strategy and execution of the material outsourcing framework, collaborating with the Risk Specialist Team.
  • Governance Coordination: Manage framework governance committees and liaise with the Chief Procurement Officer Office while producing impactful Board papers.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work with key risk functions, including Group Audit and Compliance, to coordinate reviews and audits across the framework.
  • Regulatory Impact Assessments: Provide insights on new regulatory requirements, shaping compliance strategies and frameworks.

What You'll Need:We are looking for a seasoned professional who has:

  • Extensive Experience: Proven expertise in risk management within supply chain operations, ideally in a senior capacity.
  • Supplier Management Skills: A track record of managing supplier relationships and implementing sourcing standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance requirements affecting supply chain operations.
  • Governance Coordination: Experience in coordinating governance committees and producing board papers.
  • Communication Skills: Effective stakeholder communication abilities to influence decisions on risk management.
  • Analytical Skills: A knack for assessing risks, identifying trends, and developing strategic recommendations.
