Mechanic

Full Time Mechanic

Salary: £25k-33k+  (Experience dependent)
Type: Permanent role
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm  (+ 8x track weekends a year)

Location: Shortgate Industrial Park, Lewis. East Sussex.
Commute: License & own car is required
Start Date: ASAP
Skills and experience required: 

• Repairs, maintains, inspects, and installs machinery and parts
• Conducts thorough inspections and evaluations of problematic machinery or parts to identify issues
• Provides upfront estimates for repairs and maintenance
• Budgets for current and projected repair projects and calculates costs for parts and labour
• Manage workload & workshop schedule efficiently.
• Follow instructions & service schedules precisely.
• Maintain high standards & attention to detail.
• Good diagnosis & problem-solving skills.
• Be willing to travel to races throughout the UK
• Computer literate.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure situations
• Assist with setup / set down of all equipment
• Performs regular inspections and maintenance on working machinery to ensure proper upkeep
• Experience in engine building and engineering would be an advantage Attributes we are looking for:

HGV & Trailer License an advantage.
