As an Assembl Fitter, You'll be responsible for tasks related to balcony construction and installation, such as decking balconies, glazing balconies, and fitting balustrades. This will require you to handle materials manually and organize parts for assembly on-site. Additionally, you'll be assisting tradesmen by providing necessary materials and support throughout the construction process.
This role would suit someone who has a background in either carpentry, joinery, kitchen fitting, window fitting or car body fitting
Hours of Work: 7:30 am - 16:00 pm, Monday to Friday, overtime available
Assembly Fitter Requirements:
- The role is very physical and there is a lot of lifting involved in this job position
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
- A good understanding of processes and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping
- Must be able physically fit and able to lift metal components
- Live in/within a commutable distance of Gosfield
- Work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Previous experience with metalwork
- Counterbalance forklift licence
- Gantry crane licence
