Our client is seeking a CAD Designer who can provide detailed technical drawings and estimates with a high level of precision. This role requires you to be confident speaking to customers and to be able to provide excellent customer service, whilst working closely with the sales team to convert estimates into orders. They have a small to medium size dog in the office most days, so the right candidate will need to be comfortable with this and have no allergies or fears of dogs.

This is an office-based role located in Hampton, London (TW12 2AF), working from Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.30pm. Please consider your commute before applying.

Role Requirements

  • A design-based graduate (Product design/Interior design/Furniture design/Industrial design only).
  • Experience working with CAD software to create technical drawings and renders.
  • Must be local to Hampton or have an easy commute via car or public transport.
  • Confident talking on the telephone and providing good customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Thorough, with great attention to detail is essential to avoid costly mistakes!
  • Process driven and able to use initiative where required.
  • Good time management.
  • Being able to follow processes already set in place by the company.
  • A team player, with the ability to manage assigned tasks independently.
  • Good spatial awareness within design is beneficial.
  • Other duties such as office administration, showroom appointments, assisting in the warehouse function and more will be required.
  • Smart-casual dress (as role may require conducting showroom appointments)
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio in order to see skillset and previous work/projects.
