We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Gloucester. Your role will be to work within the Technical & Engineering Team.  This department specialises in delivering customer solutions that include, bespoke clean water booster sets and waste water packages.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Project manage an agreed list of orders from receipt of order to delivery to site.
  • Manage any sub-contract orders
  • The “go to” person for agreed projects with customers and colleagues
  • Ensure order is delivered at the expected quoted margin or better
  • Act as fulcrum between sales, engineering, production, purchasing and the customer working to deliver the order at the time agreed
  • Assist in any continuous improvement processes
  • Forecast delivery revenue when required
  • Occasional Travel as and when

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, tenacious, driven to succeed, and results oriented – want to win for the benefit of the customer and the company 
  • Experience of contract management, e.g. NEC3 & 4
  • Experience of commercial project management within the construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable in networking with internal and external contacts
  • Driven by detail and accurate project documentation
  • Customer focussed, with strong commercial acumen
  • Technical experience and knowledge an advantage
  • Friendly demeanour that can build relationships easily
  • Can do attitude, happy to arrange, attend and lead meetings
  • Operate as part of a wider team
  • Competent Level of IT skills
