Your role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator to join our team at our Needham manufacturing site.

The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Sales Department and be one of the main points of contact for Account Managers, customers and prospective customers.

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks

Co-ordinate with other departments such as finance and logistics

Meticulous, customer focused and able to work at pace, you will support the sales function by processing orders, quotes and resolving sales related queries and complaints.

Receive and process sales orders from customers, via phone, email or online platforms

Verify order accuracy, pricing and product availability

Enter orders into the system accurately and promptly

Liaising directly with customers and the wider team, you will be confident with using the telephone and emails whilst remaining professional.

Serve as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and requests

Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and provide timely updates on order statuses

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through efficient and effective communication

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar administrative role or within a sales or customer service environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks

Knowledge of sales processes and procedures is desirable but not essential
