We have an exciting new opening for a Technical Services Engineer in our Harlow offices.

Role

  • Provide technical support activities where needed across all departments
  • Complete repairs for our return to base service.
  • Manage e-quip spare parts data including the quality of data relating to spare parts and suppliers.
  • Assist Procurement with spare part identification, liaise with OEM's to acquire accurate part descriptions and pricing.
  • Responsible for keeping database updated with biomed spare parts in line with e-quip.
  • Enhance spare part data by linking to models of equipment.
  • Perform data mining activities on a variety of sources producing reports as required.
  • Occasionally assist on site engineers with Biomed equipment repairs and testing.
  • Comply with the Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, and work to maintain a high standard of customer service and protect your health and safety as well as that of your colleagues, our customers, and members of the public. Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policies.
  • Support all contracts as and when required with on-site medical devices repairs, preventative maintenance and asset management.

Requirements
12 months UK medical engineering experience
HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Task list
* Repairing Return to base equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
* Maintain tools and test equipment
* Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
* Maintain safe working practices within the working environment
* Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance
* Support the site manager / team leader as required and in achieving contractual KPI's.
* Support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the clinical setting.
* Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
* Maintain service documentation in line with business requirements
* Meet with OEM service staff and management when required
