Mechanical Engineer

Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work in Harlow for a well-established company specialising in electric motors and machinery repairs and installations.

Duties:

• Service and maintenance tasks on pumps and other mechanical equipment
• Bearing and mechanical seal changes as well as replacing units
• Rewinding motors and repairing gearboxes and pumps
• Carry out fault diagnosis and accurately identify components which are faulty
• Mechanical fitting, assembly, strip, survey, and test
• Read engineering drawings

To be considering for this exciting Mechanical Engineer role, you will need the following experience:

• Knowledge of industrial electric motors, pumps - freshwater, sewage, hot and cold water
• Strong technical background with the ability to fault find, diagnose, and carry out repairs
• Electro-mechanical engineering background
• Experience within a workshop role
