Accounts Assistant (Industry / Sage)£25,000 - £27,000 + Bonus + Life insurance + Private Medical Insurance + Free Parking + Training HarrogateAre you an Account Assistant with the ability to do purchase ledger looking for an exciting role within a market leading engineering company where you will be provided with career stability and the opportunity to work as part of a tight knit accounts team?Are you looking for a varied and new position, working in a modern open plan office where you will reporting directly to the Management Accountant who will support you throughout your career. You will play a crucial role supporting the accounting department ensuring accurate financial record- keeping, performing multiple duties such as raising and issuing invoices, taking payments as well as other ad hoc duties. On offer is the fantastic opportunity to work for this modern wind turbine maintenance company, who have a history of over 15 years. The successful candidate will play a key part in the continued expansion of the business.

You will be an integral member of the accounts team taking responsibility for account payable and receivable in line with the companies procedures. The Role:

• Processing Purchase orders for job related work, urgency is key.
• Responsible for processing all purchase orders to sage, these require checking for approvals to company guidelines and gaining approval where needed.
• Checking and processing Goods received items for job related work.
• Accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and dealing with any queries, this can be high volume.
• Aged Creditors balances review month end with line manager.
• Reconciliation of Subcontractors analysis, along with WIP & Customer deposits.
• Discuss with line manager any possible missed recharges with line before processing, then invoice out to customer/client.
• Preparation of the mid-month and end of month payment run for review
• Review and submit credit card transactions for review, and post to ledger
