28,000, HG3, 8am - 6pm - 8 hour shifts, 5 days over 7, 40 hours per week, 33 days holiday, Permanent role
We are delighted to be working with a client who are opening a new daytime venue in the Harrogate area. This is an opportunity for a creative Sous Chef looking for an innovative venue with a focus on customer experience and education.
- Working closely with the Head Chef to tailor menus inspired by the on site produce
- Deputising in the Head Chef's absence
- Managing and mentoring the catering team
- Planning, preparing and cooking fresh food dishes
As the successful Sous Chef you will have a strong catering background with good leadership skills and a passion for creating great food.
This would be an ideal role if you have worked in a kitchen leadership role as a Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef or Second Chef in a restaurant environment and want a better work life balance without limiting your creativity or the food quality.
