The Company

Customer Service Advisor. Harrogate £24,000 Monday to Friday. Flexible with Start and Finish times. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established manufacturing business in the Tech space.  The business grew exponentially during covid with a turnover of £80 million and is growing from strength to strength, making this an exciting time to join and develop your career with this organisation.About the Role

· Answering inbound calls quickly and efficiently, relaying correct information back and advising customers to resolve any outstanding issues

· Dealing with email queries from customers, internal sales and 3rd party couriers to ensure they are responded to in a timely manner

· Proactive reporting to customers regarding their orders or delivery issues.

· Take full ownership for all queries received, following through to resolution and ensuring customers are kept updated throughout

· Ensure thorough and concise notes are recorded throughout query process to provide a clear audit trail

· Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating root cause to management once resolved to aid preventative action to be taken

· Office experience with clear, professional, confident telephone manner

· Pleasant, friendly style with a genuine desire to please the customer by showing appropriate levels of understanding and empathy to the customers’ situation whilst actively listening to understand customers’ needs

· Proficiency in actively solving problems and influencing customers to accept outcomes

· Highly resilient and able to handle complaints, even when dealing with difficult customers

· Good practical understanding of working with Microsoft Office

· Ability to multi-task, be organised, agree priorities and meet deadlines
