Caf Assistant

12 per hour, HG2, part time hours between (Apply online only), 33 days holiday, Permanent role

Following a recent expansion this modern caf is looking for a part time caf assistant to join the team.

Working in the caf you will:

• Take orders and payments, providing an excellent level of customer service
• Prepare and serve food and drinks
• Keep the caf area clean and tidy
• Work as part of the catering team, liaising with other departments as needed
• Follow set procedures with an understanding of the importance of food safety, allergens, health and safety and trading standards
• Work part time on a set rota basis with optional overtime.
• Available shifts include: Weekdays (Apply online only), (Apply online only) or (Apply online only) and Saturdays (Apply online only)

We would expect the successful candidate to have worked in a hospitality role and to have excellent customer service skills ,a good knowledge of food safety and experience of working in a busy environment!

It would be useful if you have a food safety qualification, basic IT skills although training can be provided.

This would be an ideal role if you have worked as a waiting / serving staff and are looking to work for a successful and growing organisation in a caf setting.

You will be joining an expanding organisation at their recently purpose built caf with plenty of parking, close to public transport links from Harrogate centre, Leeds, and Knaresborough. This is a rewarding role that plays a big part in benefiting the local community and values the input of all team members with opportunities for further training and development.
