Finance Assistant, Part Time, £12.08ph, Harrogate

Do you have experience within an account’s role? Do you enjoy working as part of a team in a varied and busy role.

Our client who are a charity are looking for a Finance Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department through providing day to day support with a range of sales ledger, cash management and general administration duties.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience within an Accounts support role
  • Ability to work towards deadlines.
  • Adaptable and proactive.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate including Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Ledger - produce and distribute invoices.
  • Input remittances to the Sales Ledger and allocate payment.
  • Chase payment of overdue invoices.
  • Manage the petty cash balances.
  • Keep accurate records of receipts and payments.
  • Monthly banking.
  • Provide financial information to relevant departments.
  • Taking calls and dealing with financial queries.
  • Support on ad hoc projects.
