Special Educational Needs Assistant - What the role includes.
- Working 1:1 with pupils who require SEN assistance,
- Working collaboratively with therapists, teachers and parents to create effective plans for the development of pupils with SEN,
- Underpinning the class teacher's lesson plans,
- Updating parents on the progress of their child.
Special Educational Needs Assistant - Job Description
- £95 - £105 per day,
- Starting ASAP
- Long-term, full-time role
- Adapt learning material to support student's needs
- Prepare learning materials
- Providing 1:1 Support for pupils across KS3-KS5 with behaviour requirements as well as SEN.
Special Educational Needs Assistant - Person specification
- Psychology or Kindred degree at a 1:1 or 2:1 level,
- Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
- Passion for education
- Charismatic and confident personality
- Fantastic communication skills
- Aspirations to progress
