Electrical Shift Maintenance Technician
Polyfoam XPS are a leading manufacturer of Extruded Polystyrene insulation.
The business has been operating from its Hartlepool manufacturing facility for nearly 40 years and continues to go from strength to strength.
An opportunity has arisen for an electrical shift technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician that is able to complete planned maintenance inspections, plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, and adhere to stock control measures. The Maintenance Technician will provide electrical/mechanical support quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime. Skills required for the Maintenance Technician:
- Have an electrical engineering qualification.
- Have experience of mechanical work
- Experience working within a processing, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of computerised maintenance systems
- Knowledge of electrical schematics
- Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Previous experience of extrusion processes would be advantageous.
The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
