Project Engineer Electrical and Controls

Adecco Engineering have an opening with one of our clients based in Essex for an experienced Electrical and Controls Project Engineer to join their organisation on a permanent basis due to an increase of projects.

As part of the EC&I Team, you will support projects in relation to operation and modification of existing and new plant modification. This will involve complex systems to ensure design of Plant aligns with current production operations.Ideal candidate will have similar experience gained in Heavy Engineering Plant - COMAH site experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design of electrical and control systems for new projects and modification of existing plant. Responsible for the specification of components and equipment such as pressure, temperature, and flow as well as motors, pneumatic valves and flow controllers to standards.Ensure the successful implementation of projects involving meeting key deliverables and Key component deliverables.Management of contractors and staff. Training staff and process operators on new equipmentProject design must be to exacting BS60079 and BS7671 standards as well as internal site standards.Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualification min ONC/HNC or equivalent Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Project Management and designSystem Maintenance Testing HV/LVExperience of PLC and DCS.Familiar with AutoCAD maintenance management systemsCompex training and IOSH or NEBOSH certificate in Health and safety - desirable Knowledge of DCS (Emerson DeltaV) or PLC programming experience.On offer, competitive salary and benefits.
