Position: Assistant Merchandiser
Location: Hassocks, just outside of Brighton
Full-time, Permanent, flexible working with a mix of home and office
Salary: £26,000-£29,000 depending on experience

What We're Looking For:
- Ability to interpret brand and customer profile
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively setting goals, managing
priorities, and taking accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of Excel
- A passion for merchandising and fashion, with a good understanding of the industry and competitors
-Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the merchandiser with planning the season and completing a seasonal analysis.
- Creating markdown proposals and effectively communicating these to the team, also considering competitor activity and highlighting this.
- Updating the WSSI with correct and current data, generating accurate reports, making recommendations from the analysis
- Assist the Merchandiser in accurate stock planning and replenishment, pick and pack projects, delivery schedule maintenance, store rollouts, and management of store portfolio.
- Administration tasks for the B&M team to include, prep of trade information, analysis of promotional markdowns, and regular reporting tasks as set out by the Merchandiser.
- Contributing innovative ideas to enhance merchandising strategies
