Responsibilities:

• The MechanicalEngineer mustMaintain, service, and repair machinery used in manufacturing.
• The MechanicalEngineer mustMinimize production downtime and keep work areas clean.
• The MechanicalEngineer mustPerform preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Manufacturing background is preferred but not required.
• Completed apprenticeship with at least mechanical qualifications.
• Able to read engineering diagrams.
• Familiar with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems.
• Skilled in working with sensors.
• The MechanicalEngineer must have Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is a plus.
• Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics is beneficial.
• Capable of prioritizing and planning tasks under pressure.
• The MechanicalEngineer mustFollow health and safety protocols and manual handling procedures.
