Support Worker: Adults Supported Living

Contract: zero hours/agency - ongoing contracts and permanent positions also available. Part time/full time/ adhoc available

Pay rate: From 12+ (PAYE)

Holiday pay is separate, NOT inclusive of your hourly pay. i.e. 12 + holiday pay

Your role will be supporting very independent adults with learning disabilities within their residential home to promote independence and aid with fulfilling life skills and house tasks in addition to helping engage within their local community. Additionally, you will be involved in in-house and community-based activities including going to the cinema, meals day trips and medical appointments. In addition to providing high-quality care and support you will aid to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Ideally you will be a driver with access to your own vehicle however this is not essential.

Requirements: 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years

  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
  • Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
